hey
I think just listening to ur friend is the best thing u can do. It’s not easy testing poz for HIV so support him by listening; inviting him out to chill, include him in all the regular activities u all did before. Nothing should change. Love ur friend like never before

Helpful sites...
First, Learn the Facts... If you just found out a friend has HIV, you'll want to know what it is and what it isn't. It's a disease that's surrounded by a lot of rumors and misinformation. I found this site that might help you in the process...

situation
I have a similar problem . A friend of mind who has living with HIV for a few months and has learned to deal with it but he just started taking meds, and since he lives with his parents who don't know his status he doesn't want to take th emeds because of the side effects. I'M NOT SURE WHAT TO TELL HIM. OFCOURSE I WANNA TELL HIM TO DEFF TAKE THE MEDS BUT ITS HARD.

A friend of mine recently tested positive for HIV and he told me about it and he is afraid to tell his family. I’m the only person he trusted to tell, so I wanted to know how I can support my friend. Sometimes I don’t know what to say to him
Has anyone else felt this way and how did you support your friend?
